This is an adapted triangle-ruler for visually impaired students. This model was designed and tested as part of the 3D4VIP project.

Printing instructions and tips

Designed by Thomas Batha, created with Sharp3D Notes on monochrome 3D printing: • PLA or ABS filament • Print upright (on the hypotenuse) (post-processing with a file/sandpaper may be necessary • or print horizontally (thorough post-processing with a cutter knife + key file (square), + sandpaper 150 + steel wool 000 is absolutely necessary in this case!) • Layer Height: 0.15mm or less • Wall Thickness: 0.8mm • Infill Density: 30% • Build Plate Adhesion Type: NONE Notes on two-tone 3D printing: • Print horizontally (thorough post-processing with a cutter knife + key file (square), + sandpaper 150 + steel wool 000 is absolutely necessary in this case!)
